The Index ranks U.S. metros based on their ability to create and sustain jobs.Bradenton moved up to number 14 from number 24 in 2005.  Our area continues to attract new growth while it provides a high quality of life.

The top 10 performers (with its last ranking, in 2005, in parentheses) of the 200 largest metros:
